The deeper question is not only what we say about him. It is what our belief becomes when another person encounters us.
If our devotion makes us more controlling, condemning, or afraid, our lives may be describing a different God than our words.

Where has admiration remained separate from imitation?
Does the God I defend resemble the God people experience through me?
