Release Is Not the Same as Return

About a 3 minute pause

THE FAMILIAR VIEW

Once I forgive someone, the relationship must go back to how it was.

ROTATE THE PRISM

Forgiveness can begin inside one person. Reconciliation needs two.

A relationship cannot be rebuilt without truth, safety, accountability, and changed behavior. Trust grows from evidence; it is not owed on demand.

You can let go of hatred without giving someone the same access they once had.

SIT WITH THIS

Have I confused mercy with renewed access?

What would need to change before closeness becomes wise?

Be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.
Matthew 10:16

CARRY THIS TODAY

Let compassion and discernment stand beside each other today.

A soft heart does not require an unguarded door.
