The Kingdom Does Not Begin Later

About a 3 minute pause

THE FAMILIAR VIEW

Heaven is the place we hope to reach after this life is over.

ROTATE THE PRISM

That hope can still matter. But Jesus also spoke of God’s kingdom as something near—something already among us.

Maybe heaven begins wherever love becomes stronger than fear. It appears when mercy interrupts judgment and when peace enters a place that pain once ruled.

Heaven may be more than where we are going. It may also be what we allow God’s love to create through us now.

SIT WITH THIS

Where am I waiting for another world before practicing the love I hope to find there?

What would it look like for heaven to enter one ordinary moment today?

The kingdom of God is in your midst.
Luke 17:20–21

CARRY THIS TODAY

Let one response today be shaped by the world you hope is coming.

Heaven may begin wherever love is finally allowed to lead.
